Caring for the Community
CLP is committed to promoting social inclusion in the communities where it operates and providing assistance to those in need.
In Sichuan, we provided financial aid to 600 local residents to support their lives. In Penglai, Shandong, we installed water purification systems for a local residential community, which can supply clean water to 300 residents. In Laizhou, Shandong, we erected safety signs and paved road speed bumps in a village to improve road safety for 1,500 villagers. In Yunnan, we made donations to build a water cellar to provide drinking water to more than 1,000 Yi villagers.
In 2017, in order to improve road safety for teachers and students of a local primary school,, Sihong Solar Power Station made donations to build a road for the school, where students can avoid other routes with busy traffic and thereby protecting their own safety to the greatest extent. The school named the road CLP Hope Road to show its appreciation for CLP’s contribution.
